Decorated cookies displayed for sale on day one. Because we couldn't find enough helper due to short notice, these cuties ran out of stock on day 3 as we couldn't produce more.

So brownies to the rescue! We rushed home to bake lots of brownies to replace those cookies. Turned out, we received lots of good comments from our customers who tried our chocolate rich yet not too sweet brownies. So we add these into our product list and bake till 4am every morning due to the overwhelming response. Thank you all again! xD

3. Do you deliver and is there any charge?

Yes we deliver to various locations. For delivery areas and rates, kindly refer to our "Terms & Condition" page, under the "Delivery or Pick up Policy".

4. You don’t sell per KG? How does your pricing system work then?

"Custom cakes and cupcakes are edible works of art that require skill and artistry, and can take days to complete”. Our pricing is based on the theory that “the cost of the cake or cupcake lies not only in the ingredients, but also in the labor invested”.

We do not price our fondant decorated cakes based on the conventional kilogram method but rather, they are priced according to the size of cake to suit your needs. Prices may differ according to the size of your cake, complexity of design, and if any, delivery charges, special packaging or other additional services requested. After all these have been confirmed, then only will the final quotation be given.

*If you have a fixed budget, kindly inform us so we might be able to come up with a project that suit your budget.

5. Can I have some discount?

- Each individual cupcake /or cake is given equal attention to its artistry work and labour invested and hence, prices cannot be lowered simply because of higher quantity ordered.

Friendly speaking, try getting a discount (as a non-member) from TAKA Cake House, MITA Cake House or even Secret Recipe when odering just about a dozen cakes or cupcakes or other products. If you manage to get a discount, we are more than happy to give you some too. =) Discounts will be considered when orders exceed 800 pieces of standard size cupcakes, depending on complexity of design.

6. Why is’nt the “red” RED? /or Why is’nt the “black” BLACK?

Coloring may result in different shades or contrast. Any color outcome depends on a few major factors: coloring agent used (liquid base or gel or powdered), the matter to be colored (fondant or fresh cream or butter cream, etc), and the amount of coloring agent used. It is not advisable to use large quantity of coloring agents escpecially dark ones (like red, brown and black), unless you don’t mind leaving yourself or guest with colorfull teeth and nasty taste!

7. Why is your fondant sooooo sweeet?!!

About fondant:

“Fondant is a thick, creamy white sugar mass used in different forms for decorating cakes and cookies with; it can be rolled and draped over a cake, poured as a glaze or sculpted with. Fondant is also the basis of many candies -- it is the center of a piece of a chocolate buttercream candy or pecan logs. It can also be used as a thick creamy, sugary filling that gushes out of a chocolate-covered cherry when bitten into. Fondant originates from the word "fondre" which means to melt named so because it melts in your mouth when eaten.”

"Fondant (and there are several kinds) remains soft for quite a while, but will harden over time -- it never gets bone hard. It can be used to make decorations and is great as a cake covering." (Baking 911)

8. Why do you have the same pricing as me?!!

I don’t suppose Colonel Sanders would be mad if Mc Donalds have similar packages or pricing as KFC, or would he? It's surprising to find certain individuals who are ignorant enough to actually alleged that we "stole" their pricing. Well, actually in marketing, this is call Competitive Pricing.

Ordering Policy

1. By ordering, you (the customer) have read, understood and fully agree to any and all of the terms & conditions listed on this page.

2. Orders can be made by phone, email or via sms.

3. Please order:

(a) 1 week (7 days) in advance for cupcakes /or cheese cakes /or brownies /or macarons /or decorated cookies
(b) 2 week (14 days) in advance for novelty cakes
(c) 3 months in advance for wedding order; or
(d) anytime earlier than 3 months

4. In case of an urgent order, kindly give us a call to inquire and we will see if we can accept your order. Please take note that a surcharge of RM 10 is applicable for orders made within 24 hours.

5. All orders must be complete as according to the Order Form and Codes.

6. All orders are only complete after full payment or a 50% non-refundable deposit has been made and received.

7. We do not guarantee that orders will be accepted especially when we are fully booked. Please be advised that all orders cannot be refunded, transferred and/or exchanged.

Pricing Policy

1. All starting price for cupcakes refers to cupcakes with frosting but excludes fondant toppers, delivery charges and may vary depending on customization and/or packaging.

2. Pricing of novelty cakes may vary depending on customization and complexity of design.

Promotion and/or Discounts

1. We reserve all rights to change and/or modify any discount rate(s) (%) without prior notice.

2. Types and/or quantity of any promotional gift(s) are only valid while stock last or may be replaced with other gift(s) when we feel it necessary.

Customization Policy

1. Any customizations as to colour or message are FREE of charge.

2. Other customizations may be subjected to additional charges if necessary.

3. Customizations of any kind are subject to our approval and we reserve the right to advice.

4. Any changes or addition as to flavours, designs, and/or customizations may be subjected to additional charges if necessary, eg: where additional fondant icing is used for example, or where additional services are requested.

We believe that you, our dear customers should have freedom to customize and personalize your cakes and/or cupcakes and hence we will try our best as according to whatever designs requested by you. Our policy may include accepting requests made by customers to us, requesting us to make certain designs which may or may not have already been done by others. However, in this practice: (a) we only accept photographs (digital and/or non-digital) supplied by the customer, and (b) we only intend to fulfill our customer's request, and (c) we in any way howsoever DO NOT intend to infringe any copyrights, and (d) we DO NOT intend to copy designs done by others, and (c) we will give credits whenever there is a need to do so.

6. We will do our best but we do NOT guarantee the outcome or quality of any customization.

Payment

1. All orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be made payable in cash by meeting face to face or by bank transfer.

2. Upon delivery and after you (the customer) and/or any of your agent(s), or the recipient have received, checked and confirmed, then the balance must be made payable ONLY in cash and on the spot. This act of paying the balance is an act which indicates and expresses that the goods are received and are correct. (Applies to section 2 & 3 of Liability Policy below)

Liability

1. Lovey Dovey Cupcakes strive to deliver the best services to you (the customer) and will do its best to ensure that your cupcakes arrive safely. However, please understand that some things are beyond our control and therefore, Lovey Dovey Cupcakes, its owners, operators and employees shall not be liable in case of late or non delivery due to the following circumstances:

(a) power failure or breakdown in machinery; or

(b) acts of God/Nature such as flood or any other acts of God/Nature not listed here or heavy traffic caused by accident; or

(c) the person who placed the order supplied us with an incorrect address; or

(d) a change of the place of collection either requested by the recipient or due to a re-route caused by the incorrect address supplied; or

(e) the recipient did not supply us with their contact number or an invalid number was given or there is no answer when we call.

2. Once the cupcakes and/or any other goods/products we offer have been received, checked and confirmed by you (the customer) and/or any of your agent(s), or the recipient AND accompanied by the payment of any balance (the above Payment Policy s.2 apply), Lovey Dovey Cupcakes, its owners, operators and employees shall NOT be held liable for any damage or loss howsoever caused, hotel and other services over which it has no control, occurring in this country, destination or through passage, or through the acts or default of any company or persons engaged in conveying or in carrying out the arrangements of your events. Any and all such losses or additional expenses shall be your (the customer)'s sole responsibility. (This section also applies to section 3 below)

3. Section 2 of "Liability", also applies where goods, once delivered, received, checked and confirmed by you (the customer) and/or any of your agent(s), or the recipient and acknowledged by the act of paying the balance, and later left the said goods in the venue or to a third party (usually the party in charge of the event or venue). In such a case, Lovey Dovey Cupcakes, its owners, operators and employees assumes NO responsibility of ensuring the safety of the cupcakes, cakes and/or any other product we offer.

We are also giving away a bag of FREE freshly baked butterscotch cookies for every purchase of 12 standard size cupcakes and above per order. Also, to enhance the joy of Christmas with your loved ones, you can now add snowmans to each cupcakes with just an additional RM 1.00 per snowman.

These are what Lovey Dovey cupcakes have been up to these past few weeks!

Saint Thomas Cathedral-Parish sales (6th September 2008)
we made these awesome cupies for the parish sales,its a charity sales to raise fund for the church.It is held anually at the cathedral.many have participated in this event and it turns out we are one of them.
I grew up in this church and never in my life i thought i would join in the sales to help out the church.so,one day we decided to join in this special cause as we are able to contribute to this beloved church of mine.it took us a few days to really plan everything out as we have to look for our own sponsors ..thank God we managed to find someone we are grateful for and this special person who is also one of my best buddy.she gave us another good reason to do good for this church...we woke up at 5 and reach there at 6.30am! many people were there already..dont they sleep at all?..hehe ...then we set up our stall,get everything ready..before we are actually ready,many came to buy already.Hmm..anyway,one of the greatest thing about this whole thing is,we sold the out the cupie in just four hours. wow! many said that its the cutest thing that they have ever seen Aww!...now that is something to be proud of for Lovey Dovey cupcakes. yeah!! we are also one of the few that have sold finish in such short amount of time..i bet the church communities are proud of us too..for first timers! we wan to thank all those tat came to support us..without you guys we couldnt have made it.so,thank you very very much... =) Click to view

Cupcake Toppers

So what are cupcake toppers? They are the sugar art decoration made of fondant that you put on top of the icing of a cupcake. Our toppers usually come with a round flat piece of fondant with designs or figurines on top. You can customize your own designs by requesting from us and letting us know what designs you wish to have. We will do our best to fulfill your request.

There are 3 categories to choose from:

* The images are examples of each category

Simple flat toppers: RM 0.50 each

Detail flat toppers: RM 0.80 each

3D toppers: RM 1.00 each

Examples:

Example 1: 16 pcs: Red Devil + 8 3D toppers only

Example 2: 25 pcs total. 12 pcs Red Devil + 3D toppers, and 13 pcs Choco-G + 5 3D toppers only (Topper designs as discussed earlier)
